When you come to next level to take one of our group fitness classes you can always expect a good time and a good work out. There’s always a spot to put your personal belongings, and the trainer is there to greet you at the door. Not only does this make everybody feel welcome, but it helps us to greet any newcomers so we can immediately direct them on where to go and what to do. Once everyone has arrived and it’s time for class to start, the trainer will begin by introducing themselves, welcoming everyone in, including new people. They will then explain what the workout is for the day, and begin running everyone through a warm-up. The warm-up will always consist of the same things, and hit every single muscle group as well as some cardio to completely warm the body up. While you are warming up, the trainer will begin running through each station of exercises. Not only will they give you a demonstration, they will show you modifications and different levels for that exercise. Once the trainer has gone through every station and every exercise, it’s time to get started. The music goes up everyone chooses their station, and then we begin. Once our group fitness class has begun, the trainer will walk around the room to make sure everyone is doing great and form looks good. We always make sure that our trainers are circulating around the room and talk to encourage members and anyone who may be new to our group fitness classes. This ensures the safety of every member, and ensures our group fitness classes are running smoothly. With a timer on their arm, the trainer can countdown and let everyone know when it’s time to move onto the next exercise, or when it’s time to rest. Again, this ensures the class is running smoothly and everyone understands what is coming next. With the music and energy of the trainer high, this ensures that the group fitness class is a great time for everyone. Once the group fitness class is done, the trainer will run everyone through a quick finisher which usually consists of core, a burn out, or cardio. Once everyone is done with this, the trainer will run everyone through a cool down stretch, really focusing on the areas worked in that group fitness class. This ensures that everyone is getting the proper end of workout recovery and stretch that they need in order to heal the muscles just worked. Because our group fitness classes are over within 40 minutes, there’s plenty of time to socialize and continue to cool down and stretch before the next class begins. If you’re interested in taking one of our group fitness classes, your first class is always free, and we would absolutely love to have you.
